12/22/2001 MacNeil WeatherTech Wind & Rain Deflectors (Model #70235)

After the intial search for mods and failure to find any, I had pretty much given up on getting anything other than the US Isuzu VX Accessories offering. Taking my VX for an early service call, I ran into my new VX pal, Mike Pate. His VX was a mac-daddy modded out rig, and inspired me to search for more of what could be modified to fit the VX. He led me to the VX online webboards and ulitimately all the other modifications that I've accomplished on the VX (it's all your fault, Mike!). He goes by the handle BigMike on the boards.

After seeing a set installed on Mike's rig, the second mod I obtained were these WeatherTech Wind deflectors for the side windows. The smoked-clear plastic deflectors snap in (so there is no hardware or tape involved) and make a fine upgrade to the VX. They allow the windows to be cracked without water dumping into the VX when it is raining, and they also allow fresh air in via the windows without producing the wind-tunnel effect the stock set-up causes. $44.95 plus shipping via their website www.weathertech.com.
