The Mexican release of Scorpio puts a full-size photo of him in a brilliant colored fuscia and pink box. Cipsa decided to make Scorpio and Callisto (called Cripton) the villains of the toy line, thus Scorpio is called "The Tyrant."

Mexican Scorpio may be found in odd color combinations (he may have pink rather than purple feet, or some other weird combination). This example has a fleshier colored body and a more pinkish torso, but still has the right colored head and shields. The gold flecks in the dome are larger, resembling glitter rather than the powder fine flecks in the US Scorpio. The Cipsa Scorpio is packaged without the chest-mounted "sensor probe" shooter, air hose or bellows.
